Description
Knitness is a collection of patterns imagined by French designers based on a theme and a colour palette: this second issue, entitled "Peace", contains 5 exclusive patterns (2 jumpers, 1 cardigan, 1 tee-shirt and 1 top) by Emma Ducher (Encre Violette), Coraline Kerisit (Maloraé Designs), Bérangère Cailliau (Lilofil), Sandrine Costa (Sand Meije) and Mylène Delarue (Folie 0rdinaire).
It explores the idea of the urban oasis: spaces that allow us to breathe and offer us refuge from the hustle and bustle of life.
This collection of designs combines comfort and modernity, it will make you want to put some colours on your needles and to supplement with lightness your wardrobe of the spring and summer days!

To knit the Confettis sweater by Emma Ducher (see pictures 3& 4), you'll need:
SIZES
XS (S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL)
YARN
Robinson of De Rerum Natura (70 % Organic Mérinos d'Arles (France) and 30 % recycled cotton (recycled in France) - 250 m / 100 g)
- CP ("sucre glace") : 4 (4, 5, 5, 6, 6, 7, 7, 8) skeins or 1000 (1250, 1250, 1500, 1500, 1750, 2000) m of DK yarn.
- C1 ("pêche melba") : 1 skein or 250 m of DK yarn.
- C2 ("barbe à papa") : 1 skein or 250 m of DK yarn.
- C3 ("muscari") : 1 skein or 250 m of DK yarn.
- C4 ("sirène") : 1 skein or 250 m of DK yarn.
Needles:
4 mm / US 6
3.5 mm / US 4 (for ribbing)
Notions: Stitch markers, stitch holders or waste yarn, tapestry needle.
GAUGE
21 sts x 32 rows to 4” / 10 cm on US 6 / 4 mm needles in stockinette stitch.
NOTES ON THE PATTERN
Confettis is a slightly loose sweater that is knitted from top to bottom: the neckline, sleeves and bottom hem are highlighted by a striped ribbing for a modern yet casual look.
