To knit the PASVIK shawl by Julie Dubreux (pictures 2 to 4), you will need:
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Longer edge: 67.5” / 170 cm.
Shorter edge: 27.5” / 70 cm.
MATERIALS
Yarn: 6 skeins of Gilliatt by De Rerum Natura (100% carded merino, 273 yds / 250 m – 100 g), colourway Poivre et sel. Or approx. 1638 yds / 1500 m of worsted weight yarn.
Needles: US 7 / 4.5 mm 50” / 120 cm circular needles, and an extra US 7 / 4.5 mm or smaller circular needles for kitchener stitch.
Notions: Stitch markers and tapestry needle. 12 1.1” / 28 mm buttons
GAUGE
18 sts x 27 rows to 4” / 10 cm on US 7 / 4.5 mm needles in stockinette stitch, after blocking.
