€17.90
Un été à tricoter - 10 vêtements et accessoires pour les beaux jours (A SUMMER OF KNITTING – 10 GARMENTS AND ACCESSORIES FOR SUNNY DAYS) is a book of knitting patterns by Emilie Luis, the founder of Atelier Emilie.
Book in French only.
Description
Tops, cardigans and summer sweaters, as well as essential accessories – bags and scarves to tie on your head or around your neck: the 10 knitwear designs offered by Atelier Émilie are designed to be worn on both hot days and cooler summer evenings. Each piece is made from natural, lightweight fibres – cotton, linen, hemp, merino and mohair-silk – and is available in 10 sizes.
An illustrated technical guide takes the reader step by step through the process of making the designs, whatever their level of experience.

NOTES ON THE PATTERN
Oscar is an oversized, relaxed-fit cardigan featuring a cloud pattern across the front. You can add two pockets (optional) and play around with the colours of the buttonband or pockets for a touch of originality.
It is knitted from the top down seamlessly with dropped shoulders. It starts at the back of the yoke, then stitches are picked up along the top of the shoulders to knit the fronts. The body (back and front) is then worked back and forth. Stitches are picked up all the way round to knit the buttonband in double stockinette stitch. The sleeve stitches are picked up and worked in the round.
