Description
Laine 29, Damson, includes 15 beautiful knits well-suited for warmer seasons. The patterns are worked in a variety of techniques, from intricate cables and modern openwork to cosy brioche and meditative stockinette stitch. The photos capture the spirit of lazy, lingering summer days in the garden. The photoshoot drew inspiration from the movie The Hours, particularly the effortless style of Clarissa Vaughan, portrayed by Meryl Streep, as well the beauty of the English countryside, which serves as the backdrop for one of the film’s storylines.
It includes:
- 15 knitting patterns: 4 sweaters, 1 cardigan, 5 t-shirts/tops, 1 dress, 1 pair of shorts, 2 shawls, 1 pair of socks.
- An interview with Olga Fahim, the creator behind Gotham Knits (@gotham.knits), who has become a pioneer of comical knitting content online.
- A Favourites section with inspiring little stories, tips, products, reviews and ideas! We visit the Yarning Hearts yarn shop in Singapore and get style inspiration from Julie Deepawali (@thetoulouseedit).
- The Five Ways article, where we gathered a few key points all knitters should consider when choosing the perfect material for their knitting project.
- A new three-part article series called Wool & Wellbeing, where Suvi Ala-Venna (@kudelmiani) designs knitwear inspired by mental wellbeing and mental health challenges.
- Jeanette Sloan’s (@jeanettesloan) column, where she writes about handling her WIPs, also known as Works in Progress.

It has a relaxed, boxy fit with dropped shoulders, giving it a casual yet elegant silhouette.
