Design : Fanette Defranoux / Hel et Zel

Description

This sweater “Petit Cassiope” is knitted from the top down, with seamless construction et without any short rows. We begin by casting on stitches for the back and the two shoulders to shape the back neckline and the beginning of the cables on each sleeve. Then we pick up some stitches on each shoulder to shape cap sleeves and the front neckline. We work the sleeves together with the body. The top of the sweater is knitted back and forth to form the front neckline. The front cable panel begins with the junction in the round. Cap sleeves are worked with the top of the sweater, with increases every 2 rows, reaching the separation of the body and sleeves. Sleeve stitches are placed on waste yarn and the bottom of the body is knitted up to the lower edge ribbing. Sleeves are then knitted in the round, with a cable on the top, and ended with a ribbing border.
