Description
CONSTRUCTION: Knit from the top down, in one piece beginning at the neck. The top of the yoke is worked back and forth, then the body and the sleeves are worked in the round. Stitches for the 'bib' are picked up and knit at the end.
MATERIALS: Sport weight yarn in the following amounts in each of 2 colours (shown in De Rerum Natura Ulysse, 100% wool; 185 m (202 yds) / 50 g)
Colour 1 (C1) = 'sel' : 3 (3, 3, 4, 4, 4) balls or 420 (500, 550, 600, 675, 720) m / 455 (545, 595, 650, 735, 780) yds
Colour 2 (C2) = 'nuit d'ete' : 4 (4, 5, 5, 5, 6) balls or 575 (690, 775, 850, 910, 980) m / 625 (750, 840, 920, 985, 1065) yds.
