CONSTRUCTION
• Bottom-up and seamless construction with mock seam,
• Gentle waist shaping, pleats under the chest,
• The sleeves are knit from the top down starting from the armholes, and shaped with short rows.
SIZES
XS (S, M1, M2, L1, L2, XL, XXL) see table on next page. The sweater is designed to be worn with 0 to 2” 0 to 5 cm ease at the chest.
Shown in size M2 in “poivre et sel” and “plume de paon”.
GAUGE
22 sts x 32 rows = 4 x 4” 10 x 10cm in stockinette stitch with the larger needles, after blocking.
YARN AND MATRIALS
6 (6, 7, 7, 8, 8, 9, 9) skeins of De Rerum Natura “Ulysse” (202yds 185m / 50g, pure French merino) or around 1.094 (1.181, 1.236, 1.465, 1.695, 1.804) yds 1.000 (1.080, 1.130, 1.260, 1.340, 1.405, 1.550, 1.650) mequivalent yarn with the same gauge (main color, MC) and 87 (98, 109, 120, 131, 142, 153, 164) yds 80 (90, 100, 110, 120, 130, 140, 150) m of the same yarn in contrasting color (CC).
One US #4 3.5mm circular needle (32” 80cm) or size required to obtain the indicated gauge, and one US #2.5 3mm circular needle for the edgings,
Double pointed needles in the same sizes (you can use circular needles only, with the magic loop method),
2 markers,
Scrap yarn to place the stitches on hold and set the armholes.
