Ringell
€6.00
design : Trin Annelie
Description
"Colorwork and stripes, a wide neckline circular yoke, a lot of ease for a comfy fit and a split hem, are all exactly what I wanted in a sweater right now. I enjoyed the yarn and colors so much and loved seeing it grow on my needles. I hope you do as well!"
- Trin Annelie
Ringell is worked in the round from the top down, starting with the yoke. Short rows are used to lower the front and make a more comfortable fit at the neckline. When yoke colorwork and shaping are completed, the work is separated into body and sleeves. Both are finished in a colorwork stripe pattern worked in the round.
The pattern includes a chart for the yoke colorwork, the colorwork stripes for the body, and a chart page for the sleeves. Please download the separate sleeves colorwork chart pdf and make sure you follow the correct chart for your size. The pdf also includes an extra blank sleeves colorwork chart for personal adjustments.
The pattern also provides some helpful tips and suggestions on how you can adjust it to suit your own preferences.

Row gauge is especially important for this design since it defines the yoke depth and therefore the fit around the shoulders.

4.0 mm/US 6 circular needle (100 cm/40", 80 cm/32" and 60 cm/24") or size needed for gauge, for sweater body and sleeves.
You may have to use a needle one size larger for the colorwork sections.
3.5 mm/US 4 circular needle (80 cm/32" and 60 cm/24") or one size smaller than larger needle, for ribbing at neckline and cuff.
