"SUNDAY BRUNCH SWEATER is an all season sweater, which can be knitted with variety of yarns. By using styles of cast on that wouldn’t have noticeable edges and clean raglan line, this sweater wears relaxing yet fit just right to follow your body movements. Knitted top down, it is easy to adjust the length of the sleeves and body, like to a simple tunic or elegant dress. CONSTRUCTION:

Start with provisional cast on, shape the yoke first with short rows and stitch increase to join at the front. Continue until the sleeve/body separation, then knit round the each parts. Finish the V-neck by picking up stitches from the front V-line and the stitches of provisional cast on. Choose 1x1 or 2x2 rib for the neckband, hem and cuffs.

18 sts and 26 rnds = 4" / 10 cm in stockinette stitch on main fabric needle

NEEDLES

Main fabric: US 7 (4.5 mm) 32" / 80 cm and longer circular needle, or size to obtain gauge

Hem and cuffs: US 5 (3.75 mm) 32" / 80 cm circular needle

Neck band: US 5 (3.75 mm) 24" / 60 cm circular needle

Needles for working a small circumference in the round : DPNs or long circular needle for magic loop

Always use a needle size that will allow you to obtain the right gauge.
