Boxed and Framed
€6.33
Creation: Hanna Maciejewska
Description
This pattern has been designed by Hanna and Solenn with the idea of offering you a garment with a modern and refined line that suits all silhouettes and takes advantage of the fall and softness of the Penelope yarn. The result is a very comfortable jacket that can be worn with jeans or a little dress and that you won't want to leave!
"Boxed and framed" is knitted back and forth, starting with a provisional cast-on for the back that begins with a braid. The triangular shape of the upper back is worked with short rows and then continued in stockinette to the armholes, where the back stitches are left on hold.
The stitches of the two fronts are then picked up and knitted to the armpits where they are joined with the back to continue in one piece to the lower body. A series of short rows are used to shape the asymmetry of the back and fronts. The edges of the fronts, lower body and sleeves are worked in brioche stitch with horizontal braids.
The sleeve stitches are then picked up on the armholes and worked with short rows to shape the sleeve head. The sleeves are then knitted in the round to the wrist.
