Description
For an optimal fit, this hat is sold with instructions for the matching collar. You will therefore receive explanations of both models.
SIZES
Size 1 (toddler): For a 16.8 to 19.2 inches 42 to 48 cm head perimeter.
Size 2 (child/adult): For a 18 to 22 inches 45 to 55 cm head perimeter.
Size 3 (adult): For a 20 to 24 inches 50 to 60 cm head perimeter.
Final height: Approximately 7.2 (8, 9.2) inches 18 (20, 23) cmompom).
Shown in size 1, in the « poivre » colorway.
GAUGE
17 sts x 24 rows = 10 x 10 cm in st st with larger needles (suggested size US #8 5mm).
MATERIAL
• 55 (65, 75) g of « Gilliatt » by De Rerum Natura (273 yard 250 m /100 g pure French merino), or 155 (180, 210) yards 140 (165, 190) mof yarn with same gauge.
• US#6 and US#8 circular needle (16’’ 40 cm long) or size required to obtain indicated gauge and one smaller, US#8 DPN’s or US#8 circular needle (same size) long enough to use the magic loop method.
• 2 different markers.
• Tapestry needle.
• For the pompom: a piece of cardboard and scissors.
