Pina Colada

€7.75

design: BabyCoktails (Thea Colman)

Description

I’d been waiting for something special to name Pina Colada! Complex and frothy and delicious, this design features beautiful textured cables and slipped-stitch honeycomb that play beautifully together. Side sections allow for visible shaping from hem to bust, and provide a space for easy modifications to fit. Sleeves are long and loose, with honeycomb at top and reverse stockinette under the arm.

- Thea

CONSTRUCTION:

Pina Colada is worked upwards in the round from hem to armhole.

Body is split into front and back pieces at armhole and worked flat in pieces to shoulders. Once shoulders are seamed, stitches are picked up and worked in the round at armhole and neckline openings for collar and sleeves.

The pattern includes lots of tips on how to personalize the jumper to your own preferences, from working from the bottom to the armhole without shaping the sides to create a straight silhouette or a custom fit, to adjusting the length or width of the body and sleeves.
