Foxberry Tee

€6.92

A nice textured and light tee shirt designed by Sari Nordlund

Description

The Foxberry Tee is a lovely short-sleeved jumper created by Finnish designer Sari Nordlund. It is named after the lace pattern that reminds us of small fox heads piled on top of each other and nubs that evoke berries.
It is knitted seamlessly from top to bottom, starting at the neckline. The sleeves and body are separated at the armhole and knitted separately. The back is slightly longer than the front and is shaped with shortened rows (although the pattern includes a version without shortened rows for those who wish).
Sari has chosen our Penelope yarn for this version, a worsted spun yarn made from organic Arles merino with a little bit of silk, which is perfect for mid-season. For a summer version, you can knit it in a plant-based yarn, such as cotton or linen (photo 7 shows a sample of the pattern knitted in Antigone, our 100% linen yarn).
